Four days in. Almost there.
This is the hardest day. Most of the phrase is gone now. Try to hold the full sentence in your head before you look at the blanks. Say it out loud if you need to.

CULTURAL MOMENT 🍅
There's a grammar pattern inside this phrase that shows up constantly in real Spanish conversations, and once you see it, you'll start hearing it everywhere.
The structure "lo que" means "what" or "that which." It's a connector. Lo que puedes hacer = what you can do. Lo que quieres decir = what you mean. Lo que me dijiste = what you told me.
Once you start hearing lo que, you'll notice it's in telenovelas, news broadcasts, and everyday conversation. It's everywhere.
Most Spanish learners skip over this.
They focus on individual words and never pick up the connecting phrases that make sentences flow. But lo que is exactly the kind of structure that makes you sound natural instead of translated.
When you use it correctly, you stop sounding like someone reading from a textbook and start sounding like someone who's been listening.
There's also a rhythm to this phrase worth noticing. No dejes / para mañana / lo que puedes hacer / hoy.
Four beats.
It reads almost like a small poem. That's part of why it has stayed in the language for 400 years.
It sounds good. Language that sounds good gets repeated. And language that gets repeated is what you need to learn.
